I have lived in Mebane since 2008 and am a Realtor with a firm based in Downtown Mebane, RE/MAX Diamond Realty.
My heart, for about 10 years now, has been with volunteering in our community. I have been active with the Mebane Woman’s Club, serving as both Treasurer and Club President in past years in addition to holding fundraising and sponsorship roles. I am deeply involved with Mebane on the Move, a local health and wellness organization, serving in both director and coordinator roles for the annual 5K races that fundraise for the organization. I also volunteer with Meals on Wheels and other local hunger prevention initiatives.
Our “how we moved to Mebane” story starts like many others have. We built our first home here in 2008. I was working in Greensboro for an IT recruiting firm. Adam was working for a start up company in Chapel Hill and we needed to be somewhere in between. What we quickly realized is that we not only found a good mid-point for work, but we stumbled across a town that we absolutely fell in love with.
Fast forward to 2021, we have two children, Colin & Rhett. Both attend public elementary school here in Mebane and are active in a variety of extracurriculars. Navigating parenthood in the community has further deepened our connection to Mebane.
